USI Insurance Services in Warrendale, PA is seeking an Employee Benefits Professional to manage client accounts and serve as the day-to-day contact for carriers. You will educate clients on compliance topics, set up new group contracts, and guide renewals with proposed changes.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in employee benefits, holds an Accident & Health license or can obtain soon, and demonstrates strong analytical and organizational skills using Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in employee benefits industry or related marketplace; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Accident & Health license is required or ability to obtain within three months from date of hire.
• Ability to problem-solve proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary contact between clients and insurance carriers.
• Educate, advise and aid clients on compliance topics including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s and Health Care Reform.
• Set up new group insurance contracts for existing or new clients.
• Manage renewal processes with appropriate contractual changes.
• Develop alternative strategies, plan modeling and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Champion client cross-selling initiatives and develop customer accounts.
• Regular client contact and in-person attendance at client meetings as needed.
• May be responsible for marketing and placement of new benefit products.
• Prepare client applications for review and determine carriers.
• Analyze and compare quotes and coverage offerings; make client recommendations.
• Process policy changes, endorsements and other requests; provide resolution support.
