Job summary

USI Insurance Services, Savannah, GA, is seeking an experienced benefits professional to manage a book of small employee benefits accounts and serve as the day-to-day contact for clients and carriers.

You will handle renewals, educate clients on compliance topics, and coordinate communications. The role requires at least 5 years in employee benefits, a life and disability license, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in employee benefits industry
• College degree preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Must hold life and disability license
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong written and oral communication

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for a high-volume benefits book and clients.
• Handle renewal processes and communicate details to insurers and clients.
• Coordinate marketing and placement of new benefit products.
• Educate clients on compliance topics (ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s, Health Care Reform).
• Respond to information requests and employee inquiries.
• Develop client communications for renewals and enrollments.
• Maintain accuracy in agency management and document systems.
• Support client communications via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
