Job summary

Adobe’s Corporate Development team seeks an MBA student for a full-time internship in California, focusing on inorganic growth through acquisitions and investments. You’ll work with VPs and C-suite executives, building financial models and valuation analyses to shape strategic options and deal decisions.

You’ll analyze TAM, market landscapes, and potential partnerships, coordinating due diligence and cross-functional workstreams.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of core Accounting/Finance concepts.
  • Ability to build financial models and perform valuation.
  • Strategic development and internal communication skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • External facing communication and relationship management.
  • Exposure to software development and architecture is a plus.
  • Familiarity with transaction-related legal concepts is a plus.
  • Ability to leverage AI to augment research and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop strategic investment themes and assess opportunities.
  • Identify product gaps and evaluate build/partner/buy options for acquisitions.
  • Conduct analyses including TAM, competition, customer overlaps, and financial models.
  • Coordinate all M&A process elements including due diligence and data rooms.
  • Develop understanding of new customer segments, market trends, and industry positioning.
  • Build an external network of industry specialists to gain insights.
