Job summary

The University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions, Scholarship to lead the scholarship appeals process for the Full-Time MBA program and to oversee campus events.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence in Ann Arbor three days weekly and occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with travel during peak season. You will own scholarship appeals, participate in evaluation, support outreach and communications, and report to the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in a professional environment, preferably in college admissions.
• Experience assessing candidates, evaluating talent, and building relationships within Admissions, Recruiting, or Marketing.
• Experience executing logistics for events and programs.
• Experience writing communications for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office; ability to adapt to new tools.
• CRM experience, such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Full-Time MBA scholarship process and appeals.
• Lead admissions committee meetings for scholarship awards with transparency.
• Plan campus visits and Ross events, including Winter Welcome.
• Manage event logistics and post-event follow-up.
• Maintain CRM data to support reporting and forecasting.
• Represent Michigan Ross at recruitment events and information sessions.
• Provide data analysis of scholarship outcomes and requests.
