Job summary

SMU's Cox School of Business seeks an Assistant Dean to drive growth and success of its MBA and MS programs. This on-campus role leads admissions, yields, and recruitment while coordinating with senior leadership, faculty, and marketing to elevate program rankings and student experience.

The position requires a Master's degree (MBA preferred), 10+ years of experience, and at least 3 years in management. Travel and evening/weekend events may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum ten years of professional experience with at least 3 years in management.
• Admissions experience preferred, especially MBA admissions.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Full-Time MBA and MS admissions strategy with operations, yield, and enrollment oversight.
• Directly manage the admissions team, aligning with Cox strategy and stakeholders.
• Develop recruitment and enrollment plans, budget and scholarship projections.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance program competitiveness and student experience.
• Represent the graduate programs to prospective students and partners.
