OSU Rec Sports - Sport. Leadership. Wellness. is seeking part-time Teaching Student Assistants for the Department of Microbiology at Oregon State University.

The roles involve assisting with MB 230: Introductory Microbiology, including lab setup/cleanup, supervising students during lab, and aiding in grading after FERPA training. Three positions are available, each up to 24 hours per week. Applicants must be enrolled in college or university and meet OSU eligibility requirements; international

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
• Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
• International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered “full-time” by USCIS.
• A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS).

Job Description:

This recruitment will be used to fill three (3) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Teaching Student Assistant positions for the Department of Microbiology at Oregon State University (OSU).

This position is for undergraduate teaching assistants for MB 230: Introductory Microbiology.
