Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home nursing care for pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. The role requires an active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state and current TB/Chest X-ray with valid BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• TB test or chest X-ray current.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
