Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Orlando is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. Competitive pay is offered with weekly paychecks and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include providing skilled nursing care using the nursing process, assessing patient conditions, and documenting care plans. Valid LPN license and current BLS are required; TB test/Chest X-ray may be needed.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• TB test or Chest X-ray current.
• Current BLS card.
• One year nursing experience preferred.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
