Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. The position offers weekly paychecks, health benefits, and a range of company-paid and voluntary benefits. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $26 to $30.

The LPN will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, providing skilled nursing services in accordance with orders and ensuring patient safety in home settings.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray (clear).
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.
