Job summary

Plains is seeking a Maximo Business System Owner to coordinate stakeholders and manage the PAA Maximo EAM system. The role spans end‑user management, data governance, and configuration change control, requiring collaboration with Operations, Commercial (Trucking), and IS teams.

The ideal candidate has five+ years in technical analysis or engineering, with strong English communication and knowledge of field operations and safety practices. Office-based role in Houston with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4‑year college degree in STEM or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years in a technical analysis, maintenance/reliability, or engineering role.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English and basic math.
• Knowledge across field operations, maintenance, and safety practices.
• Experience managing end users, data, and system configuration.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Commercial (Trucking), Operations, Engineering, and HSE regularly to update on initiatives and changes.
• Support process improvements leveraging system capabilities and document requirements.
• Define a multi‑year roadmap for system capabilities aligned to business needs.
• Capture, prioritize, and manage stakeholder initiatives through to completion.
• Oversee large projects requiring new or enhanced system capabilities or integrations.
• Serve as primary IS contact for the PAA Maximo instance and accelerate backlog resolution.
• Plan and oversee testing of system changes prior to deployment.
• Collaborate to develop training and reference guides for stakeholders.
• Provide end-user support and drive system enhancements.
