Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking a Maximo Functional Support Manager to own the Maximo support operating model, aligning business processes with maintenance, reliability, and asset management across the enterprise. The role leads functional configuration, governance, data quality, and user adoption while coordinating with IT, operations, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Asset Management or related field.
• 7+ years supporting IBM Maximo, EAM, maintenance, reliability, or related systems.
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience, including team delivery.
• Hands-on Maximo experience across work management, assets, materials, and testing.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for field users and leadership.
• Analytical, data-driven with problem-solving and process improvement abilities.
• Ability to manage production support, testing, documentation, projects, and AI-enabled productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Maximo Functional Support employees with clear roles and workloads.
• Prioritize support, enhancements, testing, documentation, training, and projects by impact and risk.
• Promote collaboration across business and technical teams and remove obstacles.
• Provide functional leadership for Maximo and related solutions across work management and asset modules.
• Ensure requests and incidents are evaluated, prioritized, assigned, and resolved with proper documentation.
• Maintain end-to-end Maximo process understanding and ensure enterprise standards.
• Establish and enforce functional standards, governance, and data stewardship expectations.
• Promote Maximo as the system of record for asset maintenance, reliability, and materials.
• Monitor data quality, compliance, recurring issues, and lead ongoing improvements.
• Lead participation in upgrades, integrations, testing, and post-implementation support.
• Oversee requirements gathering, stakeholder workshops, specs, test plans, and training.
• Coordinate with IT, vendors, and technical teams on interfaces, security, and releases.
