Job summary

Goodfellow Bros. seeks a Project Engineer to join our team in Kihei, Maui, HI. The PE will administer technical aspects, coordinate with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and agencies to keep work on schedule and on budget.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and up to 2 years of civil construction experience, with proficiency in HCSS Heavy Job, Word, Excel, and MS Project. This role supports safety programs and project closeout activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is required.
0-2 years of experience in general civil construction preferred.
Must have computer experience with HCSS Heavy Job, Word, Excel and Project.

Responsibilities

Reviews plans, specifications, site conditions, proposals, and project documentation.
Coordinates project schedules and monitors construction progress.
Reviews subcontractor and vendor quotations with the Project Estimator.
Assists with subcontract negotiations, contracts, submittals, payments, and performance.
Coordinates subcontractor activities and ensures compliance with project plans.
