Job summary

Goodfellow Bros Inc. is hiring an Entry Level Project Engineer in Kapolei, HI. The PE will work with owners, subcontractors, vendors and agencies to keep projects on schedule and on budget, possibly supervising others.

Requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and 0–2 years’ experience. Salary ranges from $76,000 to $86,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in heavy civil construction.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• MS Word, Excel and Project proficiency; Viewpoint Vista or HCSS Heavy Job knowledge is a plus.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with owners, subcontractors and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information from site inspections, drawings and specs.
• Coordinate pre-construction surveys and identify risks.
• Monitor project schedule and overall construction progress.
• Review subcontract quotations and assist in negotiations and submittals.
• Maintain project files, logs, budgets and cost reports.
• Ensure safety plans and regulatory compliance on site.
