Job summary

Goodfellow Bros., Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Kapolei, Oahu team. The PE will administer the technical aspects of projects, coordinating with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies to keep work on schedule and on budget.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, with 0–2 years of heavy civil construction experience. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Project is required; Viewpoint Vista and HCSS HeavyJob are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 0-2 years experience in heavy civil construction is preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Project; Viewpoint Vista or HCSS Heavy Job a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze site information, drawings, specs and proposals to support project teams.
• Coordinate pre-construction surveys and identify risks; assist with scheduling.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure work aligns with plans and budgets.
• Review subcontractor bids, assist in negotiations, and track pay estimates.
• Maintain project files, RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Coordinate with owners, vendors, and authorities; support safety and compliance.
