Job summary

Makena Golf & Beach Club in Maui, HI seeks a Food Runner to join the Food and Beverage Service Department. You will deliver dishes to tables, clear and reset as needed, and assist kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely service, contributing to the exceptional Discovery Land Company experience for members and guests.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 3 months of fine-dining or high-volume experience, knowledge of HACCP standards, and the ability to work flexible hours including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months of experience in fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.
• Knowledge of HACCP and local food safety standards; State Food Safety Certificate is preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food items to guest tables and ensure correct dish delivery to the proper seat.
• Clear away used items, check water glass levels, and refill as needed.
• Replace silverware and clear the surrounding area as necessary.
• Provide explanations of menu items and assist guests with needs.
• Assist kitchen staff to ensure proper plating and accurate delivery of dishes.
