Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support DoD operations from the Kahului Logistics Center in Maui, Hawai'i. The role covers shipping, receiving and asset tracking to maintain accurate government property records and DPAS data entry.

Responsibilities include managing inventories, coordinating shipments, IT asset management duties, and training staff on Haz Waste and IAP protocols, with strict adherence to security and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in logistics, inventory management, or property administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to write daily correspondence to the government customer.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the alternative Base Equipment Control Officer (BCO) to maintain accurate property records in DPAS Site IDs.
• Create and maintain item cataloguing for L&P stock-numbers using DPAS tools.
• Maintain custodial equipment jacket folders and reconcile equipment records.
• Plan and conduct monthly Floor to Book inventories and input updates to DPAS.
• Perform IT Asset Management tasks when needed.
