Job summary

Troon, operator of The Plantation Course in Lahaina, HI, seeks an Assistant Golf Professional to join the Golf Shop team on a full-time basis. You will greet guests with aloha, assist with merchandise sales, and support daily operations in a fast-paced resort setting.

Hourly compensation ranges from $24 to $30 per hour, based on experience. The position offers healthcare, retirement benefits, paid time off, and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Competent in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with computerized POS, GPS, Tournament Software and tee time systems
• Maintains a credible golf gam3
• Current PGA Membership Class "A" preferred but not necessary
• Willing and able to live on Maui
• Must be dependable

Responsibilities

• Acknowledges guests with aloha upon entrance into the Golf Shop.
• Assists the guest by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.
• Assists with monthly/quarterly physical inventories.
• Processes and records sales transactions. Maintains accountabilities for all sales and money transactions made.
• Assists with rotating stock, keeping displays clean and orderly and creating appealing displays.
