Job summary

Kapalua Plantation Golf Course in Lahaina, HI, is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Golf Professional to join Troon’s hospitality-focused team. The role offers an hourly wage of $24.00–$30.00 based on experience and qualifications, with opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced resort setting on Maui.

You’ll engage with guests, assist with merchandise, inventory, and sales transactions, and support daily shop operations.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiar with POS systems, GPS, tournament software and tee time technology.
• Maintains credible golf game and professional demeanor.
• Current PGA Membership Class A preferred but not required.
• Willing and able to live on Maui and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledges guests with aloha upon entering the Golf Shop.
• Assists guests by selling merchandise and providing information professionally.
• Assists with monthly/quarterly inventories.
• Processes and records sales transactions; maintains accountability for all sales and money.
• Maintains rotating stock, clean displays, and attractive merchandise presentation.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As partofTroon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Hourly Compensation: $24.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Competent in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with computerized POS, GPS, Tournament Software and tee time systems
• Maintains a credible golf gam3
• Current PGA Membership Class "A" preferred but not necessary
• Willing and able to live on Maui
• Must be dependable

Position Responsibilities:

• Acknowledges guests with aloha upon entrance into the Golf Shop.
• Assists the guest by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.
• Assists with monthly/quarterly physical inventories.
• Processes and records sales transactions. Maintains accountabilities for all sales and money transactions made.
• Assists with rotating stock, keeping displays clean and orderly and creating appealing displays.
