Job summary

Kapalua Plantation Golf Course in Lahaina, HI invites applications for a full-time Assistant Golf Professional. You will assist guests, sell merchandise, and help manage shop operations as part of Troon, a global leader in golf and hospitality.

Requirements include proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS, GPS and tee-time software; PGA Class A is preferred but not required. On-Maui housing is available, with healthcare, retirement benefits, PTO and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with office software and basic computer skills.
• Experience with point-of-sale, GPS and golfing tee-time software.
• Knowledge of golf-related software is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledges guests with aloha upon entrance to the Golf Shop.
• Assists guests by selling merchandise and providing information professionally.
• Assists with monthly/quarterly inventories and stock control.
• Processes and records sales transactions, maintaining cash accountability.
• Maintains displays, rotates stock, and keeps the shop inviting.

Kapalua Plantation Golf Course, located in Lahaina, HI, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for aFull-Time Assistant Golf Professional! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Hourly Compensation: $24.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Competent in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with computerized POS, GPS, Tournament Software and tee time systems
• Maintains a credible golf gam3
• Current PGA Membership Class "A" preferred but not necessary
• Willing and able to live on Maui
• Must be dependable

Position Responsibilities:

• Acknowledges guests with aloha upon entrance into the Golf Shop.
  
• Assists the guest by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.
  
• Assists with monthly/quarterly physical inventories.
  
• Processes and records sales transactions. Maintains accountabilities for all sales and money transactions made.
  
• Assists with rotating stock, keeping displays clean and orderly and creating appealing displays.
