Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking a Cap Flanger sewing operator in Phoenix to join our manufacturing team. The role involves preparing materials, sewing the side border to the bottom panel, and ensuring precise assembly of mattress components.

The position requires good hand-eye coordination, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to work extended hours including overtime and Saturdays as needed. Prior sewing experience is preferred.

• Read and comprehend basic order information.
• Sit and/or stand in place for extended periods of time.
• Work flexible hours, including overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read the information on the order ticket and collect the accurate materials to be sewn.
• Sew the side border of the mattress to the bottom cloth panel.
• Operate the sewing machine and feed the border through the jaws as it is sewn to the panel.
