Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding (SSB) is seeking a manufacturing associate to assemble mattresses per work instructions using pneumatic tools, including HMB-related tasks. You will contribute to the build of various mattress units and ensure quality throughout the process.

Ideal candidates have experience with pneumatic tools and a preference for a manufacturing setting, with attention to detail and the ability to follow specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow established work instructions and quality standards.
• Attention to detail and good manual dexterity.

What You'll Do:

Assemble mattresses as outlined in established work instructions using a variety of pneumatic tools (e.g., c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, hot glue guns). This includes the assembly of Hot Melt Bond (HMB) units on the HMB machine; application of various, specified upholstered layers to HMB and open coil units; foam-encased pocketed coil units; application of specified upholstery layers; foam encasing and final mattress assembly.

How You'll Do It:

Inspects mattress components and finished units for unacceptable flaws or structural defects.

What You'll Bring:

Work experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
