Job summary

Lamoille Union High School in Hyde Park, Vermont is seeking a certified mathematics intervention instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will join our Mathematics Department and support student growth and success.

The position involves monitoring progress, providing targeted remediation, coordinating math labs, and communicating with staff, students and families. PLC participation and proficiency-based learning experience are desired.

Qualifications

• Certified mathematics intervention instructor or eligible.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student growth and provide direct remediation with identified outcomes.
• Communicate with mathematics instructors, students, parents and school teams.
• House homework and classwork from the Mathematics Department and collect data for reports.
• Coordinate student placements across the intervention system and serve as the point person for math labs.
• Connect math lab teachers with classroom teachers and participate in PLC and school-wide interventions.
• Experience with project-based learning, restorative practices, UbD/UDL and proficiency-based learning is preferred.
