Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, TN invites applications for an Instructor of Mathematics (9/10 Month, Term). The selected candidate will deliver quality instruction in multiple formats, assess student learning, and contribute to program outcomes and college service.

Responsibilities include teaching 15 credit hours per term (with office hours), supporting recruitment and retention efforts, participating in curriculum development, and maintaining up-to-date subject matter

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
• Master’s degree plus 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
• Collegiate-level teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality instruction in multiple formats and assess student learning.
• Teach 15 semester credit hours and maintain office hours per college policy.
• Contribute to curriculum development, program evaluation, and accreditation work.
• Engage in service activities and support student recruitment and retention.
