Volunteer State Community College seeks a Mathematics instructor for a 9/10 month term at the Livingston Center, with potential teaching at Cookeville. The role delivers quality instruction across formats and participates in assessment of student learning and program outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in the discipline or equivalent graduate hours, and engages in service activities to support the college mission.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution or a Master’s degree plus 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.

Responsibilities

Deliver instruction in multiple formats including asynchronous online, on-ground, and hybrid.
Teach 28-32 semester credits per academic year across Fall and Spring.
Provide engaging instruction and maintain a conducive learning environment.
Participate in program assessment, curriculum review, and accreditation activities.
