Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s in discipline OR Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in discipline; credentialed as required by accrediting bodies.
• Experience teaching college-level Mathematics in two-year or technical colleges; course/curriculum development experience.
• Proficient in written and oral communication; able to teach on campus with online instruction considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans for credited Mathematics courses and develop program goals and syllabi.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain required documentation and reports.
• Attend staff development and meetings; participate in curriculum development and program assessment.
• Mentor adjunct faculty, ensure consistency in syllabi, tests, and materials.
• Assist recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
