Job summary

Lanier Technical College, Hall County Campus, Gainesville, GA, invites applications for a full-time Mathematics Instructor. This FLSA-exempt, benefit-eligible position features a salary in the mid-60s annually, commensurate with education and experience.

The successful candidate will develop course outlines and syllabi, prepare lesson plans, teach credited Mathematics courses, evaluate student progress, and participate in campus activities and service.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s in Mathematics or related with 18 graduate hours in English and relevant content.
• Must work well with diverse students in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop outlines and objectives for courses and programs.
• Prepare lesson plans for credited Mathematics courses.
• Evaluate student progress toward goals.
• Maintain budget requests and required documentation.
• Ensure classroom safety and security.
• Collaborate with staff on instructional programs and student progress.
• Assist with student recruitment and retention.
• Manage scheduling, syllabi development, and course delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Dean.
