Gwinnett Technical College seeks an Adjunct Faculty member in Mathematics for the Lawrenceville Campus. This part-time, non-benefited, FLSA-exempt role involves delivering lectures and labs, preparing lesson plans, and evaluating student progress in general core courses.

Reporting to the Program Director of Mathematics, the candidate should hold a Doctorate or Master's degree (or Master's with 18 graduate hours) and ideally possess postsecondary teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in discipline or Master's with 18 graduate hours.
• Postsecondary teaching experience is preferred.
• Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy accrediting bodies for the course.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers lecture and/or lab course material.
• Prepares lesson plans for on-campus classroom instruction.
• Evaluates students' progress toward goals and objectives.
• Maintains required documentation and administrative reports.
• Assists with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts.
