Job Title: Mathematics FT Faculty CFS Professorial (two positions)

Job Classification: CFS Professorial Faculty.

Start date of this position: Fall 2027

Required Degree: PhD in mathematics or a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Duties and expectations:

• As a professorial faculty member, you will spend 40% of your time teaching, 40% of your time doing research, and 20% in service.
• A typical teaching assignment in the department is currently 4 courses per academic year, primarily during Fall and Winter semesters.
• We expect you to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses.
• In addition to teaching, you will conduct independent research, publish research papers, give research presentations at conferences and institutions, and mentor students at the undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. levels.
• Also, you will be expected to fulfill service responsibilities within the department and the university, and to support the goals and missions of the university, college, and department.
