Job summary

Salem College is seeking a Mathematics adjunct instructor for the Spring 2027 semester. The role teaches up to two Mathematics courses, develops syllabi and CMS content, and evaluates student work. • At least 18 graduate-level course hours in mathematics or related disciplines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Teaches one or two courses in the Mathematics program
• Develops course materials (syllabi, homework, CMS content)
• Evaluates and grades student work and exams
• Holds minimum two office hours per week
• Maintains attendance records, grades, and documentation
• Communicates with students via Salem College email
• Participates in periodic math faculty meetings
