Job summary

Northern Essex Community College is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach Mathematics on an as-needed basis for Spring 2027. Courses range from Foundations of Mathematics to Linear Algebra and may be day, evening, or online in the future. Instructors report to the Dean of STEM and contribute to student success.

Positions depend on enrollment. Applicants should hold a Master’s in Mathematics or related field, with strong teaching experience and a commitment to inclusive excellence.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics with 18 graduate credits in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching mathematics at the college level.
• Experience using technology in instruction and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses according to Academic Catalog description and established departmental student learning outcomes.
• Adhere to NECC policies and MCCC contract requirements, including grading, deadlines, evaluation, syllabus requirements, LMS materials, and required meetings.
