Job summary

Fusion Global Academy seeks a Math Virtual Evening Teacher to deliver personalized 1-to-1 instruction for grades 4-12, with flexible scheduling and remote collaboration with passionate colleagues. You’ll differentiate instruction, support social-emotional development, and build strong partnerships with families, while maintaining accurate records and pursuing professional growth.

Evening availability is required; candidates in the allowed U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to teach a wide range of Math courses from Basic to Calculus.
• Experience with diverse learners including learning differences and social-emotional needs.
• Mentoring experience and passion for social-emotional learning.

As a Math Virtual Evening Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. What You’ll Do

• Teach in a truly personalized way - one student at a time.
• Differentiate and personalize academic instruction and support social and emotional development in students ranging from 4th - 12th grades.
• Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.
• Keep student records accurate and organized.
• Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of Math courses (Basic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Integrated, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus), following content standards - curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

This position requires evening availability. Fusion Academy is currently accepting employment applications for remote and virtual applicants who reside in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington DC, Washington, Wisconsin. Fusion Global Academy teachers are required to maintain a minimum of 24 hours of availability paired across Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday. Friday hours are also encouraged. All Fusion Academy employees must maintain physical residence in one of the above mentioned states.

Pay Range

USD $28.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
