Job summary

Fusion Global Academy seeks a Math Virtual Evening Teacher to deliver personalized, one-on-one instruction to students in grades 4–12, with evening availability. You’ll design lessons, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with parents and colleagues to support social, emotional, and academic growth.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, the ability to teach a wide range of Math courses, mentoring experience, strong communication, and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of Math courses (list provided) with curriculum and resources supplied.
• Experience with students including those with learning differences and mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Growth mindset with flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
• Florida residents require level 2 background screening.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of Math courses (Basic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Integrated, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

This position requires evening availability. Fusion Academy is currently accepting employment applications for remote and virtual applicants who reside in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington DC, Washington, Wisconsin. Fusion Global Academy teachers are required to maintain a minimum of 24 hours of availability paired across Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday. Friday hours are also encouraged. All Fusion Academy employees must maintain physical residence in one of the above mentioned states.

Pay Range

USD $28.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
