Job summary

Fusion Global Academy, a fully accredited 1-on-1 private school for grades 4–12, seeks a Math Virtual Evening Teacher with flexibility to shape schedules and design lessons. Evening availability is required; curriculum and resources are provided. Remote role for U.S.

residents with 24-hour availability split across Mon/Wed and Tue/Thu, plus encouraged Friday hours. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (advanced degrees or teaching credential a plus) and can teach a broad range of math

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability to teach a wide range of Math courses (Basic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Integrated, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus).
• Experience working with students with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology and open to learning new tools.

What We’re Looking For:

This position requires evening availability. Fusion Academy is currently accepting employment applications for remote and virtual applicants who reside in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington DC, Washington, Wisconsin. Fusion Global Academy teachers are required to maintain a minimum of 24 hours of availability paired across Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday. Friday hours are also encouraged. All Fusion Academy employees must maintain physical residence in one of the above mentioned states.
