Job summary

Mathnasium of Converse is seeking an exceptional Math Tutor for a part-time role with flexible hours. You will provide engaging math instruction to students in-center, online after initial in-person period, and optionally via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.

The position emphasizes algebra readiness and a passion for helping students. You will interact with parents, assess progress, and contribute to a small team focused on tailored, student-centered teaching.

Qualifications

• Exceptional math competency through Algebra 2 or higher.
• A passion for math and working with students.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional instruction to students.
• Positively interact with parents.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Tutor in-center, online after at least 6 months in-center, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and tutoring practices including individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ progress and collaborate with the team to deliver the best instruction.

About Us

We have been open for almost nine years and have a great team of tutors. We typically employ 14-18 instructors so we are pretty small. This job looks great on your resume because of the focus on helping students. We also have several volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
