Job summary

The School District of Springfield Township is seeking a Long Term Substitute for our High School Math Department for the Spring 2027 semester. The successful candidate will teach Calculus and Algebra II and join a team of experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering standards-based math instruction, maintaining class records, and collaborating with staff and parents. A PA Math 7-12 certification and a Education degree are required.

• Active PA Math 7-12 certification is required.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's in Education is required.

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with other grade-level/subject-area teachers, specialists, and support staff.
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school events.

Terms of employment:

Long Term Substitute position to be determined in accordance with the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement. Position to begin January 25, 2027 not to extend beyond the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
