Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education required.
• Current, valid Colorado Initial or Professional Teacher license required.
• Substitutions: Colorado Adult Basic Education Authorization, Initial Special Services, or Special Services license may substitute for the teacher license.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains an effective classroom with PBIS and engagement strategies tailored to student needs.
• Assesses students using multiple assessment methods and collects evidence of learning.
• Prepares unit lesson plans and daily plans aligned with state standards and critical skills; designs varied assessment tools.
• Uses technology to design, upload information and lessons, and maintains accurate records in IC and Trails.
