Job Summary

Cardinal Ritter College Prep, a St. Louis Archdiocesan coeducational college preparatory high school for grades 9-12, seeks a certified Math Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Preference is given to applicants with SLU1818, UMSL, or AP credentials to teach college credit math, but these are not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to teach in an urban, college preparatory environment, possess a strong academic background, and hold a Missouri State Teaching License (Master’s Degree preferred).

Job Responsibilities
  • Articulate and act according to the policies, procedures, mission, and vision of the St. Louis Archdiocese and Cardinal Ritter College Preparatory High School.
  • Plan and deliver quality instruction using the Gradual Release Model and develop assessments to promote higher-order thinking.
  • Incorporate instructional technology and implement project-based learning activities.
  • Create and maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Utilize online student data systems and Google applications.

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to teaching and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Compensation

Salary is based on degrees and experience (negotiable); includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Reporting Line

The position reports to the school’s administrative team.
