Job summary

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Math Education, or related field; master's preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience teaching math at middle/high school, preferably private/independent schools.
• Experience designing and delivering hands-on experiments.
• Experience with AP/IB Math courses may be a plus.
• Strong understanding of math principles and effective explanations.
• Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong classroom management.

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective math lessons for students at various levels (e.g., middle school, high school, or advanced courses).
• Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, including lectures, demonstrations, hands‑on activities, and experiments.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments in alignment with the curriculum and educational standards.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem‑solving.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Math Education, or a related field (master’s degree preferred for advanced courses or higher teaching roles).
• Prior experience teaching math at the middle or high school level, particularly in a private or independent school setting, is preferred.
• Experience in designing and delivering hands‑on experiments.
• Experience with advanced courses (e.g., AP Math, IB Math) may be a plus.
• In-depth understanding of math principles, theories, and concepts.
• Ability to explain complex topics clearly and in an engaging manner.
• Proficiency in laboratory practices and safety protocols.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students, encouraging their curiosity and passion for math.
• Skills in assessing and addressing diverse learning needs.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools, learning management systems, and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning.
• Ability to integrate technology effectively into math instruction, such as through simulations and multimedia presentations.
