Job summary

Carney, Sandoe & Associates seeks a dedicated Math and Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in the Sarasota area. The role involves teaching secondary math and science, designing Montessori-aligned interdisciplinary projects, and mentoring students within a collaborative school community.

You will differentiate instruction for diverse learners, foster respectful relationships with students and families, and contribute to experiential learning and field studies across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (required); Master's degree in education, math, science, or related field (preferred).
• Experience teaching math and/or science at the secondary level.
• Montessori credential or willingness to learn about Montessori principles.
• Demonstrated ability to create highly engaging, student-centered learning environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and the dignity of every student.

Responsibilities
