Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Math Education, or related field; master's preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience teaching math at middle/high school, preferably private/independent schools.
• Experience designing and delivering hands-on experiments.
• Experience with AP/IB Math courses may be a plus.
• Strong understanding of math principles and effective explanations.
• Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging math lessons for various levels (middle to high school).
• Use diverse teaching methods (lectures, demonstrations, hands-on activities, experiments).
• Prepare lesson plans, materials, and assessments aligned with standards.
• Foster a positive learning environment encouraging curiosity and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with faculty to refine curriculum materials to meet school goals.
• Maintain an orderly classroom and address student behavior thoughtfully.
• Encourage group work and individual tasks.
