Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a Master Teacher, Math (26-27 SY) to support curriculum instruction and implement effective teaching strategies aligned to standards. Working with the teacher of record, you will apply MTSS-based practices, analyze data, and help lead professional development.

This full-time, 10-month position requires a valid NC Teaching license in the content area, a bachelor's degree, and at least five years of successful classroom

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Valid NC Teaching license in content area required.
Master's degree in Education preferred.
Minimum five years of successful content-area teaching.
Equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities

Adhere to state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with administration and teacher of record to provide targeted instructional strategies.
Demonstrate instructional coaching and adult PLC leadership.
Develop and evaluate professional development aligned to school goals.
Improve classroom teaching with clear expectations and actionable feedback.
