Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid NC teaching license in content area.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years' experience as a successful content area teacher.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with school admin and the teacher of record to provide instructional strategies including MTSS framework components.
• Demonstrate instructional expertise and coaching skills.
• Support PLCs in developing classroom practices to meet student needs and curricular demands.
• Develop, facilitate, and evaluate professional development aligned to school goals.
• Improve classroom teaching by setting clear expectations and providing actionable feedback.
• Oversee planning, facilitation, and follow-up of school-based professional development.
• Assist teachers in applying new professional learning and analyze data from multiple sources.
