Qualifications

• Masters Degree required with experience in elementary education.

• Valid Connecticut Teaching Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized individual and small-group intervention for literacy and math.
• Assist classroom teachers with instruction by modeling lessons and coaching.
• Collaborate with grade level teams to improve instruction at classroom level.
• Lead and coordinate literacy and math assessments and instructional programs.
• Analyze assessment data to inform instructional decisions and targeted reteaching.
• Present professional development to school staff on effective teaching practices.
• Attend PPT meetings and communicate with parents as needed.
• Support planning for family nights and parent conferences.
