Job summary

Lewiston Public Schools, Connors Elementary School, is seeking a dedicated Intervention Teacher to provide targeted literacy and mathematics support for grades K–6. You will join a collaborative MTSS team and work with teachers, specialists, and families to identify needs and monitor progress toward learning goals.

Qualifications

• Valid Maine Teaching Certificate required.
• Minimum of three years of elementary teaching experience preferred.
• Experience delivering literacy and/or mathematics interventions in a school setting preferred.
• Familiarity with MTSS frameworks, progress monitoring tools, and data-driven instructional practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted, small-group and individual intervention sessions in literacy and/or mathematics.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including multilingual learners.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with each student's needs.
• Collaborate with MTSS Team and administration to monitor progress and tier placement.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, intervention logs, and progress notes.
