Hill 35 in Canyon Lake, TX is seeking a licensed teacher to lead mathematics interventions under Title I funding. The role focuses on improving math achievement for disadvantaged students in kindergarten through third grade through push-in support and data-driven instruction.

You will collaborate with teachers and administrators, plan weekly math instruction, monitor student progress, and share updates with families while maintaining student confidentiality and a safe learning environment.

Formación

• Valid Texas teaching certificate.
• Master's degree from an accredited college preferred.
• Bilingual Certification or ESL Supplemental preferred.
• Five years of successful teaching experience preferred.
• Expertise in mathematics curriculum, assessment, instructional delivery and staff development.

Responsabilidades

• Collects, analyzes, and reports data for the district and parents.
• Identify areas of student needs in computation, mathematical fluency and problem solving, and develop interventions.
• Demonstrates math intervention methods to teachers and paraprofessionals.
• Instructs students in a push-in setting to improve math concepts and proficiencies.
• Plans weekly math schedules with target grade level teachers per EMI guidelines.
• Prepares teaching materials and reports for intervention lesson plans and documenting student progress.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information for protection of students and staff.
• Manages student behavior to provide a safe learning environment.
• Monitors progress and provides regular feedback to students, teachers, and parents.
