Job summary

Trinity Basin Preparatory, Inc. Central Admin in Grand Prairie, Texas seeks a Curriculum Specialist - Math who will support teachers and students by delivering targeted math instruction and documenting interventions to ensure progress by year-end.

You will collaborate with campus administrators, RtI and ESL specialists, develop action plans, create lesson plans for small groups, and conduct daily math lessons through push-in or co-teaching, while analyzing data to guide instruction.

Qualifications

• Ability to evaluate teacher effectiveness and analyze data to guide improvements.
• Knowledge of learning theory, classroom management and best instructional practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and instructional manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Public speaking to groups of constituents or employees.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documents and calendars.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document teacher support and targeted math instruction.
• Collaborate with administrators, RtI and ESL specialists to identify students needing support.
• Collaborate with teachers of record to determine specific skill deficits.
• Create and document individual action plans and lesson plans for small groups.
• Conduct daily math lessons via push-in and/or co-teaching.
• Share progress data with campus administrators and stakeholders.
• Assist CAO and Exec Director with training and intervention documentation.
• Engage in professional development and apply learnings.
