Job summary

Mathnasium of Upper Arlington is seeking an in-center Instructor to teach math using our proven method. No lesson planning; just teach and help students build confidence.

We offer flexible hours with after-school and weekend shifts, ongoing training, and a supportive team that values growth. You’ll work with K–12 students, from basic math through Algebra I, and potential pathways to lead roles or full-time positions.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills from Kindergarten through Algebra I.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with kids.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Availability for 2+ afternoon shifts (Sun-Thur, 3-4hrs).

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students' progress and engagement during sessions.
• Motivate students with real-world, fun examples.

What You'll Do:

Teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices

What You Need:

Strong math skills from Kindergarten through Algebra I (preference for those who can teach Algebra and beyond, including Pre-Calculus and ACT/SAT)

Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with kids

Ability to pass a background check

Eagerness to learn and be trained

Availability for 2+ afternoon shifts (Sun-Thur, 3-4hrs)

All applicants must complete a math literacy test to demonstrate proficiency
