Job summary

Mathnasium of Upper Arlington seeks instructors to teach mathematics to K-12 students using the Mathnasium Method. No lesson planning is required, and you will join a large network of 1,000+ locations focused on helping students catch up, keep up, and get ahead.

We offer a flexible schedule with after-school and weekend shifts, opportunities for advancement, ongoing training, and fully provided curriculum and instructional tools.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills from Kindergarten through Algebra I, with preference for higher-level math.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with kids.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Availability for 2+ afternoon shifts (Sun-Thur, 3-4hrs).
• All applicants must complete a math literacy test to demonstrate proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method and teaching practices.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students' progress and engagement during sessions.
• Motivate students with real-world, fun examples.
