Job summary

Mathnasium offers positions for Math Instructors/Tutors to teach K-12 students using the Mathnasium Method, in-center or online. You’ll work with a team to provide individualized instruction, assess progress, and become proficient with digital materials.

Part-time hours align with after-school and weekend availability, with a supportive work culture and opportunities for advancement. Training and curriculum are provided.

What you will do as a Math Instructor / Tutor:

• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

What we are looking for in a Math Instructor / Tutor:

• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I,II
• Open to fresh graduates; undergraduate candidates with relevant skills or experience are a plus
• Relevant skills or experience are an advantage

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
