Mathnasium is seeking energetic Math Tutors to inspire students (1st–12th grade) to master math and enjoy it along the way. Be part of a supportive, fun team with consistent hours after school and on weekends.

You’ll follow our Mathnasium Method, receive comprehensive training, and have materials provided. If you’re passionate about math and helping students succeed, we’d love to meet you.

Qualifications

• Must pass a math proficiency test.
• Must provide work authorization.
• Must pass a background check.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Access to reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Help students track their progress and celebrate achievements.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment.
• Review test scores and address problem areas.
• Teach and tutor using Mathnasium Method.

Be a Math Tutor at Mathnasium – Consistent Weekly Schedule (guaranteed at least 10 hours per week)

Shift Availability

We’re looking for instructors who can work at least 3 of the following shifts:

• Tuesday: 4:00PM–7:30PM
• Wednesday: 4:00PM–7:30PM
• Thursday: 4:00PM–7:30PM
• Friday: 4:00PM–7:00PM
• Sunday: 1:00PM–4:30PM

You Will

• Help students track their progress and celebrate their achievements
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and professional learning environment
• Review test scores and work on the questions that gave students problems
• Teach and tutor students in our center using our proven Mathnasium Method
• Collaborate with team members to deliver engaging, individualized math instruction

Who You Are

• You’re motivated, eager to grow, and ready to learn.
• You’re confident in math skills up to Algebra 2 and enjoy building others’ confidence, too.
